Proposal in south Beach

Michigan couple are engaged in a gorgeous sunset proposal in my home town

D reached out to me from Michigan, he was planning to propose to his girlfriend on his winter trip to Miami. Looking to escape the 20 degrees forecast & Detroit weather, they began their stay in stunning South Beach.

After having scouted out the different beaches in the morning, D decided on South Pointe for his proposal later that evening. South Pointe is known amongst locals to be an excellent place to skate, bike, and stroll, and is an amazing choice for a surprise proposal in Miami.

Right as the end of the strip is approaching, just before the iconic pier, there is a small hill that gives a stunning view of the ocean. It is surrounded by swaying palms and has amazing light from the sun that setting.

There up on the hill, D got on one knee and asked K to be his wife. It was moving and emotional and everything I love about proposals.

After giving them a moment of privacy to reflect and take everything in, we walked down to the beach and took a few celebratory photos in the sand. It was pure magic. D & K were so extremely happy with their experience and so deeply in love with their photos. This Miami proposal was an absolute success!
